Hi, I’m Owain Lewis. I’m a Director Of Engineering with experience managing engineering organisations and operating large-scale cloud services. I’ve worked for many years as a software engineer before transitioning to an engineering leadership role several years ago.
When I transitioned from Engineer To Manager, little (no) help or guidance was available, and I was left to “figure it out” by myself. It took a long time, and I made many mistakes. Management is a challenging and lonely role where finding help is hard.
